  1. Write in third person – Example He stated that the patrol arrived at the scene at 1400 hours on Wednesday 24 April 2023
  2. Capital letters can be used for names and places
  3. Time: 24 Hours system
  4. Time and date – Example Time, Date, Year
  5. At 2200 hrs, on Monday 08th Oct. 2022
  6. Report should be brief, complete and clear. It should not like a story.
